I bought this to go with a Samsung NC20
Originally the Samsung bluetooth would recognise it, and I can type in the security number, but then it would not pair up.
This was fixed by updating the bluetooth drivers in the computer.
However the keyboard seems to be warped and won't stay flat, and rattles when I type

My only gripe with this superb Bluetooth Keyboard is that it thinks it's Italian.
Well the Keyboard layout actually is in Italian but unless you configure your PC to read the Italian layout it will only understand the original layout that you or your PC maker programmed initially. Personally I'm just goanna get use to the keys as the differences are minimal.....honest!
Calling All Lefties
For those of you who are left-handed (like me) this model may add fuel to your growing conspiracy theories that the world is indeed still out to get you! As seen on the picture the Touchpad is aaaaall the way over to the right-hand side of the keyboard. A choice of optional sides wouldn't have hurt! Or even a way you can clip off and on alternative sides would have been just peachy.
But!
Truth be known, even for us Lefties, the Touchpad works great! Positioned not too far away from the direction keys, improves greatly the fluidity of your typing (maybe one day even us lefties too)
And finally
For those of you who have the mad keyboard skills to never have to look where they're typing (Must be nice!) need not bother reading on as this doesn't affect you.
Oh wait!
I'm done already!

Not a lot to say - it's really good! It works from across the room and is responsive.

Excellent for wireless input from your couch. The integrated touchpad makes it a great input device for any media center. Installation was very simple, powered it up and was found by computer discovering bluetooth devices. Only needed to type a displayed code and hit enter and was paired successfully. Works like a charm. Only disadvantage is the black shiny finishing that makes it very prone to dust

I bought this keyboard as the main input device for my HTPC. I know it is labeled as a PS3 device but it works flawlessly in a PC. The only thing that seems unusual is the set of keycodes generated by the multimedia keys.
I use it with Debian GNU/Linux. It worked like a charm without any kind of special configuration steps. It conforms to the standard GB keyboard layout.
Pros:
- By contrast to the typical wireless keyboards it has a much longer range. It is quite confortable to type while laying in front of the TV
- I find the builtin touchpad quite handy to avoid the need for a table.
Cons:
- Batteries last for shorter periods than typical IR keyboards (around 2 weeks if you do not care to switch it off).
- The builtin multimedia keys generate keycodes analogous to some other normal keys. This is a bit awkward if you want to control an MP3 player while typing into a word processor. But I find it quite useable in a HTPC using the appropriate key mapping.
- I miss some multimedia keys (e.g. volume).

Brilliant and attractive shiney black keyboard. We use it for wireless internet access via a ps3 and it is very easy to use. Would reccommend it also because it is really reasonably priced and was well packed and delivered quickly.

I bought this mediaboard for use on a Windows XP based PC that we use as a media center in the lounge to replace a previous unbranded bluetooth keyboard. Having read a number of reviews it seems clear that the mediaboard is basically a PC type keyboard with a few PS3 features thrown in, rather than a PS3 keyboard that happens to work with a PC. You can see elsewhere how well it works with a PS3, but I thought it might be useful to tell people that it definitely works fine with a PC too.
It took me only a few minutes to set up. Unpacked, put batteries in, turn the mediaboard power on (top right), scan for new bluetooth devices on the PC and press reset on the mediaboard (on the underside). Tell the PC that you wish Windows to chose the pairing key, then type the pairing key that Windows gives you into the mediaboard and press Enter. It then paired with no problem and worked fine, recognising both the keyboard and touch pad parts of the mediaboard.
The mediaboard powers down to a low power state after about 5 minutes without being used, which saves battery life if you forget to turn it off with the switch. I cannot see any way to configure this time out. The mediaboard returns to full operation after about 1 second after it is turned on. Also, if the mediaboard went to sleep, touching a key or touching the mouse pad brings the mediaboard back to life, again after about 1 second.
Technical. There are 5 extra buttons along the top of the keyboard. Menu, <<, >, >> and DVD Menu. The two menu buttons appear to have identical scan codes to the function keys F1 and F2 (59, 60), so not sure what the point of those is... The other three keys appear to have unique scan codes which could be remapped using something like KeyTweak to do useful functions, but I have not tried this so cannot guarantee that this would work.
Negative points. The mouse pad really is in the wrong place. I've used a bluetooth keyboard with the mousepad under the keyboard as it is with a laptop, and this is much easier to use two handed (when you want to press a mouse button with your left hand and move the pointer with your right at the same time). However, I doubt I'll be using this for much more than starting films going, or calling up videos on youtube and the odd bit of web browsing, so for me at least it isn't that much of an issue, but it's worth bearing in mind. Also, the on/off switch seems a little on the flimsy side and doesn't really have a very positive action - time will tell if that is an issue or not...
One final consideration is that if you intend to use this with a PC (and this is a general issue with all bluetooth keyboards, not just the mediaboard), it will not work when you are in the PC Bios.

I bought the product on a friday. Recieved it saturday. Used it straight away. Stopped working on the sunday. The buttons were sticking and everything and then it just completely stopped working. Don't waste your money on this piece of rubbish! I would ask for a refund or something, but I chucked the box away as soon as I got it, so I doubt they would let me have a replacement or something.

I bought this primarily to use for my pc with the PS3 compatibility a bonus. Worked instantly and is an excellent choice for use with my 40" LCD / PC set up. This way when you need it you are not digging round the bottom of the sofa for the mouse or struggling to use the laser on your leg!
Touch pad is slightly slow to use but for my purposes does the trick adequately. Obviously though make sure you have a bluetooth adapter or similar for your pc!

It connects seamlessly, it makes typing text much faster but
it only implements the X, O, [], /\ keys. No L1, L2, L3, R1, R2, R3, setup or start. So when you sit there trying to use the browser you have no back key other unless you have a PS3 controller by you. This can be taken as a flaw in the browser itself as it has no on screen back buttons etc but it's not pointed out by logitech when you buy it, it's not in the woeful pamphlet you get supplied with and it takes quite some digging on their support site to see why they do not implement these functions - basically they blame sony.
Other than that it's a good wireless keyboard and mouse combo, just not as good as I expected it to be.

Excellant product delivered on time and as expected. Setup very quick and easy and it has made using my PS3 a new experience.

I bought this keyboard to use it with my new desktop which was without an operating system. Connecting it to the machine at this stage was impossible, so I had to use another keyboard to install Windows before I can use the Logitech Cordless Meadiaboard Pro. Connecting it to XP was excellent, however I then installed the Windows 7 RC version and had a hard time to pair the keyboard and the desktop, but after managed to do it eventually choosing "manufacturer provided code" and entered 0's.
Once this hurdle was over, I started enjoying this keyboard. Wireless signal is very good and I was able to use it without any problems from my bed which is approximately 5 metres from the bluetooth dongle (compared to other bluetooth devices which had choppy signal at that distance). The design is very nice and sleek, and the keyboard is pretty sturdy, as I managed to drop it a few times and it still holds on. Despite it being so sturdy, the keyboard is surprisingly light and is fun carrying around. Typing is pretty easy and the touchpad is great , although a bit small compared to a laptop touchpad.
The only drawback I see is the non-standard choice of keys for this keyboard, which I guess is due to it being manufactured for PlayStations. The keyboard lacks the windows button (which I found out I use pretty often after I discovered it's not there) and has two other weird buttons which come from a PS3 controller I think. Also, the keyboard has a limited choice of media keys - just play/stop and a button to call the dvd menu. I'd love to see at least a volume up/down and a mute button next to these, although the existance of the touchpad make it less problematic as you can simply click the volume control icon and "do it yourself".
Overall, I am happy with the looks of the keyboard and its touchpad, while I had some issues pairing it to Windows 7 and I'm missing some media standard keys as well as media keys.

Easy to setup and works very well. Makes navigating iPlayer on the PS3 a breeze! Definately recommended.

I ordered this wanting to hook up my Samsung laptop via HDMI to my Sharp Aquos HDTV. This keyboard works flawlessly with Windows Vista as my laptop has Bluetooth built in. I simple initiated search for Bluetooth devices and it detected the keyboard automatically. You can type in your own passkey or allow Vista too make one up for you! Within 15secs my keyboard was working!
I have not used it on my PS3 yet, but I presume it will work fine!

This a great keyboard for PS3 users whether using chat or even linux on the PS3. The integrated touch pad means you can have mouse function on your lap. PS3 triangle, square, circle and X buttons are all there and it has the buttons to control your media whether songs or films. There has been much complaining that there is no L1 or R1 buttons used to control the back and forward browser function for the PS3 browser.... well guess what... use the Backspace and Shift-Backspace for back and forward control - so it's not an issue. OK - no L2. L3 buttons but just use the triangle button to pull the menu up and you can do it from there
Overall great keyboard - would be lost without it

Fantastic keyboard. I bought this to use with my PS3 to make web browsing easier, it was very easy to pair up. The PS3 buttons on it come in handy, as will the Bluray buttons if you don't have a proper remote. Built in track pad works well. Well built with nice shiny black finish just like the PS3, this does tend to attract finger prints and dust though. Another reason I bought this was for using Yellow Dog Linux 6.1 on my PS3, I used a USB keyboard and mouse to install YDL6.1 coz at the time i didn't have this keyboard but not sure I would have been able to use it anyway from what I have read on various forums. A USB Bluetooth dongle may get around that problem but I'm not sure. Once YDL6.1 was set up I didn't have to do anything else to get the keyboard working. Overall I would say that if you want a Bluetooth keyboard for your PS3 (or anything else) then you will struggle to find anything better, 10/10.

Bought this keyboard to make entering game data easier for my son on the PS3. Now the whole family use it for web browsing, DVD/BLU-RAY controls. It does everything, looks and feels great. Buy one!

I bought this because I use my PC from sitting on my settee, through my HD TV. Secondary to that was for the PS3.
It hooked up to both no problem, no installation disk needed, only a pass key on the PS3, which it tells you anyway on the screen.
It switched itself off after a while if you leave it for too long, which is great. It boots up in a matter of milliseconds when you touch a key or the touch pad.
The touch pad is just like is on a lap top. I chose to do away with a mouse all together and still getting used to using just the touch pad, but it.s comming along nicely.
This is a well made product and even better looking in real life than in the pics.
They keys are a bit more noisy than on some other keyboards, but I quickly got used to it.
It's also very light and thin.
Does.'t have a number pad at the right hand side, which takes a bit of getting used to, as I have to use the number keys above the letter keys.
Not really used it much on the PS3, so I cannon comment on the lack of zoom function. But I imagine having my controller at hand to zoom isn't much of a problem.

I bought this to use with my PS3, it has the square, triangle symbols etc.. on the corrisponding keys. It is gloss black with a silver bit, so it matches the PS3 and my TV really well. The set up was quick, only a few seconds. The keys feel good and it seems well built. I also like the laptop style touch pad mouse. For the price it is perfect. But I didnt give it a full 5 stars because I would have liked the R2,L2 and R3,L3 keys on it somewhere (as these are the keys you resize the screen with when browsing). Also it could have been a little more ergonimic, its not really designed to sit on your lap, its more for a desk.

Sounds like a good product but useless for me as the mouse pad is on the right and I'm left handed.

Brilliant product well worth the money spent. Great for writing messages to other online players. Great for playstation home. Built in mouse makes it easier to scroll up and down through your contacts or the web.

This is a good keyboard, and a nice addition if you have a PS3. I got mine today and it paired straight away without any problems. There are a few points that are a little annoying (points that have also been covered by others), hence the 4 stars instead of 5:
1)There is not PS button
2) There are no L1, L2, L3 or R1, R2, R3 buttons
The lack of the PS button isn't a major issue but it would have been nice. The lack of L and R buttons is a bit more annoying as it means that you have to use another controller to properly control zooming, and to use the back and forward functions in the browser. That said, the fact that the keyboard is bluetooth is really good. Despite the afore mentions issues, I don't doubt that this is the best keyboard for the PS3 and would thuroughly recommend one to anyone who feels they need a keyboard for their PS3.

If you're buying this for web browsing, beware that there are no R/L 1-3 key equivalents. So, page forward, backwards, zoom in and out are all missing. Also a lack of "PS" button means there's no wake your PS3 out of hibernate with this keyboard.
Other than that I've had no problems and some of the issues with the lack of zoom functionality could probably be overcome by purchasing a 57 inch Full HD TV for about £3000.

A nice piece of kit for the price. I followed the simple instructions included in the box and in less than a minute the keyboard was paired to the PS3. The keyboard looks the part in gloss black and suits the PS3, but it's construction does feel a little flimsy although the action on the keys feels fine. Mouse pad works well but could do with being a little larger and as yet, I've not found L1 L2 L3 R1 R2 R3 compatable keys so have the controller to hand is adviseable when surfing.
As a plus, I have also paired with XP, Mac and Linux machines with no problems what so ever...
Overall this is a great product at a good price and I would recomend to any PS3 owner who is thinking about getting a bluetooth keyboard

With the launch of new Yellow Dog Linux 6, the MediaBoard Pro support is sorted out. Pls try out the following :
1. Follow the normal install procedure for YDL6;
2. Launch YDL 6 in KDE mode (supposely also work in other GNOME or E16 mode) with root;
3. Issue command
#hidd --server -n
4. Turn on / reset the keyboard, and wait for a few seconds, the screen will appear something like this :
hidd [xxxx]: Rejected connection from unknown device AA;BB:CCD:EE:FF
5. Press ctrl-c to close hidd and write
#hidd -connect AA:BB:CCD:EE:FF
6. Issue command to verify the keyboard connection
#hidd --search
Now, the MediaBoard keyboard shall work remotely even after the YDL6 is restarted / rebooted. Have Fun !!
